WatchGuard Firebox T15 and T35-R End of Life: March 1, 2027
Four small-office Firebox models reach WatchGuard's end of life on March 1, 2027: the Firebox T15, T15-W, T35-R and T35-DW. The date is on WatchGuard's End of Life Policy page, which defines End of Life as the conclusion of development and support for a product that has already passed its End of Sale. All four are already off sale. Until the end-of-life date, WatchGuard says, customers with an active Support subscription keep receiving technical and limited software support.

What WatchGuard's end of life means
WatchGuard's policy moves every appliance through two stages. At End of Sale the model can no longer be bought new. At End of Life, which WatchGuard describes as the conclusion of development and support, the model stops receiving software development and support. Between the two, customers with an active Support subscription receive continued technical and limited software support. For these four models the second stage arrives on March 1, 2027.
What to do
- Find every T15 and T35 in the estate. Note the exact model: a T35-R or T35-DW has until March 1, 2027; a T35 or T35-W reached end of life on December 31, 2025 and should be replaced first.
- Keep the Support subscription active until the end-of-life date. That is what keeps limited software support coming in the meantime.
- Order the replacement before the date. WatchGuard's suggested paths are in the table above; check the replacement's features and licences against what the old box runs today.
