What to do
- On Rancher 2.10 or older: already past end of life. Move now.
- On Rancher 2.11: the last day is October 24, 2026. A maintained line is several minor versions ahead, and each Rancher line supports its own range of Kubernetes versions, so check SUSE's support matrix and upgrade documentation for the line you are moving to before you plan the steps.
- Pick the target by maintenance, not by end of life. Only 2.15 and 2.14 are inside their maintenance window today, and 2.14 leaves it on October 30, 2026. A move to 2.12 or 2.13 lands on a line that is already in security-fixes-on-request.
