Cisco takes its last orders for the UCS 6454 and 64108 Fabric Interconnects on December 22, 2026. Cisco's End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement EOL15931 (amended) covers the whole Fabric Interconnect 6400 Series, including the UCS-FI-6454 and UCS-FI-64108 and the Cisco Compute Hyperconverged (HCI and HCIX) variants. Table 2 of the notice lists 37 affected part numbers. For the UCS-FI-6454 and UCS-FI-64108 it names the same two sixth-generation migration parts:
- UCS-FI-6652-U: 6th generation UCS Fabric Interconnect, 1RU, 10/25/50G Ethernet, 64G Fibre Channel.
- UCS-FI-6664-U: 6th generation UCS Fabric Interconnect, 2RU, 100G Ethernet, 64G Fibre Channel.
The hyperconverged HCI and HCIX variants have their own migration part numbers in the same table; look up your part number there before ordering. The notice also says remanufactured 6400 Series units may be available through Cisco Refresh, in limited supply, until the Last Date of Support.

- Order spares or additional units before December 22, 2026.
- Plan software: routine software maintenance releases for the 6400 Series end on December 22, 2027; after that, Cisco commits only to security remedies, until December 31, 2031.
